I looked after the Expedia account during my time at Ogilvy, and managed to sell this campaign (created by Jon Morgan and Mike Watson) to an initially reluctant client over a few beers and some chicken wings on a trip to their headquarters in Seattle. It was a good job I did because my ECD had told me not to come back if I didn’t. And it went on to become the most-awarded print campaign in the world in 2013.
